The ECVS turbocharger speed measurement system is a proven robust, reliable, simple, accurate and cost-effective solution, which has more advantages than optical or magnetic sensing systems. This system is based on the principle of 1MHz pulse induction with eddy current identification function. It detects and counts the compressor blades separately through the electromagnetic sensor installed on the compressor, thereby generating a standard TTL/CMOS output signal. Its maximum wheel speed measurement range can reach 400,000 rpm, while the minimum operating speed is 390 rpm. This system adopts an open architecture and modular design, and can be easily integrated into the existing measurement systems. For the impeller material of the turbine compressor, the system preferentially recommends the use of aluminum. If titanium alloy wheels are used, separate tests are required to verify their compatibility with ECVS sensors.

The ECVS turbocharger speed measurement system, with its high sensitivity, can support a distance between the sensor and the rotating blades within the blade thickness range of 1 to 0.6 millimeters. In addition, this system is compatible with a variety of sensors and can be flexibly adapted according to the different needs of users, based on the length of the sensor head and the type of thread, thereby meeting diverse application scenarios.
