VPS-V1000 series magnetoelectric vibration sensor

I. Description

The VSP-V1000 type magnetoelectric low-frequency vibration sensor (sometimes also called a velocity sensor) is an inertial sensor. It utilizes the principle of magnetoelectric induction to convert vibration signals into voltage signals, and the voltage value is proportional to the vibration velocity value. This sensor can be used to measure mechanical vibrations with rotational speeds as low as 5Hz.

The VPS-V series magnetoelectric vibration sensors are mainly used to measure the vibration of bearing covers in various rotating mechanical devices such as steam turbines, compressors, fans and fluid pumps. It is an electromagnetic sensor that outputs voltage by a moving coil cutting magnetic field lines. Therefore, it has the characteristics of not requiring a power supply during operation and being easy to install.

 

II. Characteristics

The output signal is proportional to the vibration velocity, which can cover the vibration measurement fields of high frequency, medium frequency and low frequency.

2. The VPS-V series sensors have a low output impedance and a good signal-to-noise ratio. There are no special requirements for the output plug and cable either, and it is convenient to use.

3. The sensor design eliminates the moving components with friction, thus offering good flexibility and the ability to measure minute vibrations (0.01mm).

4. The sensor has a certain ability to resist lateral vibration (not exceeding a peak of 10g).

5. It can be used to measure the vibration of bearing housings, casings or structures (absolute vibration relative to inertial space). It can be directly installed on the outside of the machine and is extremely convenient to use and maintain.

6. The shell of VPS-V1006G adopts a stainless steel shell laser welding process, and the protection level can reach IP65.
